A Church Is Burning, Paul Simon Songbook 1965
Comment : Paul Simon recorded this song solo in 1965. During the civil rights struggle in the United States, churches were frequently set on fire. In this song, Paul Simon accuses the Ku Klux Klan, but above all, he pays tribute to the courage of civil rights activists.
