The project
Mneseek.fr is a cultural exchange website based on the sharing of internet links.
More fundamentally, it is an experimental project whose aim is to explore the engineering of knowledge through the web. Connecting knowledge and bringing fundamental questions to light are part of a search for meaning that is now made possible through digital tools and web-based collaboration. New features enabling users to comment on, annotate, document, question, categorize, organize, and even rank or structure indexed elements are currently being experimented with. These features will allow everyone to engage in a practical approach to knowledge.
"Nothing is more necessary to our fragile democracy today than the sharing of knowledge and culture." — Philippe Meirieu
"Discovering works of art, exchanging knowledge, and sharing cultures across generations, professions, communities, and peoples is, within the realm of what is possible, the only hopeful alternative to drive-driven capitalism." — Philippe Meirieu
Mneseek is therefore a cognitive website that seeks to promote collective intelligence in general, and more specifically the forms of collective intelligence made possible by the web. Its development since its beginnings in 2011 makes it conceivable to create a “meaningful encyclopedia of the web and of cultural objects.” To achieve this, it is up to you to contribute, and up to you to find the content that interests you…
